Associate Solutions Architect

Position Summary
As an Associate Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in our sales process by helping to define technical solutions for potential customers. You will work closely with our sales team, engineering team, and product partners to explain our technology solutions and ensure they align with customer needs. This is an exciting opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support and collaborate with sales and business development teams to effectively communicate PhoenixET's products, technology, solutions, and services to prospective and existing customers.
- Develop a strong understanding of PhoenixET software products, features, and functions from both a functional and technical perspective.
- Assist in demonstrating PhoenixET products and solutions, highlighting benefits like energy cost reductions and operational improvements.
- Help formulate customer solutions under the guidance of senior team members.
- Participate in the validation of upcoming software releases to understand and explain new features and capabilities.
- Contribute to the creation and upkeep of product demonstrations that showcase solutions.
- Provide technical assistance for web meetings, live presentations, and tradeshows.
- Support responses to RFI/RFP requests and assist with gathering IT/Security data from customers and prospects.
- Learn to interpret customer requirements by actively listening and documenting their needs.
- Collaborate with product management to communicate customer feedback, solution requirements, timing, product gaps, and revenue opportunity to aid product roadmap prioritization.
- Work with and assist implementation teams as required to onboard new customers.
- Ability to travel as needed, up to 25% of the time.
- Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Eager to learn about software sales solutioning for customers and partners.
- Comfortable in a growing atmosphere with an expanding customer base.
- Strong aptitude for demonstrating products and technology.
- Organized and analytical, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams.
- Knowledge of SaaS solutions technology stacks, including APIs, gateways, and database systems.
- Experience with Building/Energy Management Systems (BMS/EMS) and controls in the retail and commercial markets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint for presentations and Excel with experience analyzing data sets using pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and statistical functions.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent listening and verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organizational and time management skills; able to meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment with a high degree of tolerance for change.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in the energy and facilities management industry (smart buildings) or a related technical field.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
- Experience with technical support or customer-facing roles is a plus.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
SALARY RANGE: $100K-$120K/year
