Lisa Varga Named To OC Metro Magazine's Hot 25 List For 2012

Newport, CA, November 8, 2012 – Each year, OC METRO magazine, Orange County’s premier business and lifestyle publication, selects and celebrates a group of individuals whose accomplishments have shaped Orange County rich and diverse industries such as business, media, technology, healthcare, as well as transportation. The Hot 25 honorees, according to Steve Churm, CEO of Churm Media and publisher of OC METRO, are “movers and shakers – the people shaping business, social, educational and philanthropic circles throughout Orange County.”

Throughout the year, OC METRO’s editorial staff collects nominations and scours submissions until the time comes to determine the leaders worthy of securing a spot on the Hot 25 List. This year, Phoenix Energy Technologies’ CEO Lisa Varga has been selected and will be featured in the November issue of the magazine. A cocktail reception to celebrate the 2012 Hot 25 honorees will take place on Wednesday November 14, 2012.

“It is a tremendous honor to be recognized by OC METRO magazine.  I am proud to be included amongst such an esteemed group of Orange County industry leaders,” said Varga.  “I believe in supporting job creation and fostering relationships within our local community.  Phoenix Energy Technologies has seen 57% growth in the past three years and our continued growth strategy will deliver additional opportunities to those interested in pursuing a career in the clean technology industry.”

An enterprise energy management provider, Phoenix Energy Technologies couples proprietary software and services to reduce energy consumption and costs for multi-site organizations.  Specializing in the national retail market, PhoenixET leverages its ability to deploy solutions without the installation of new hardware, along with its Analytics and Monitoring services, to deliver increased energy efficiency and provide the support required to optimize building performance.  In the case of a national retail chain, where seemingly “minor” adjustments pay big dividends when implemented enterprise wide, energy spend may be reduced by up to 25 percent.
